My 2018 Goals

One thing I've learnt in 2017, is that setting goals really is essential. They help you know where you are going, and they motivate you as you see yourself getting closer to your end goal, or achieving a goal. I didn't used to set myself goals, and I found myself just aimlessly working on my blog, and personal stuff, with out actually knowing when I'd accomplished anything. So here's a few things I'd like to accomplish in 2018.

New Year, New Boots

As much as I want to go out and buy enough new boots to fill my room, I can't afford to do that. So instead, I put together a wish list type post with some of the boots that I have fallen in love with whilst window shopping. Yes, just window shopping.

Well, well, well... What a month. I can't believe it's over already if I'm honest. After doing Blogmas last year, and not being very well prepared, this year I tried my best to prepare and plan for it earlier on in the year. Did it help?

Blogmas Day 16 || Envy Pro Hair

I'm not usually one to put much effort into my hair because not matter what I do, it always looks the same. If I curl it, it's straight again in half and hour. If I use products in it, depending on the product, it just gets greasy really fast. So I just don't really bother. So when Envy Pro* sent me some of their products, I thought it was the perfect time to start putting a bit of effort into my hair.

Blogmas Day 15 || Budget Friendly Christmas Palette

I'm not going to lie, I will use any excuse to go out and buy a new palette. So of course, when I was planning Blogmas, finding a new palette to feature was a must. I went for this one, because not only do I love Revolutions palettes, but it was only £10 and it looks pretty. It also has a lovely range of glittery shades perfect for a Christmas makeup look.

Blogmas Day 14 || Pick & Melt This Christmas

Ahhhh the sweet smell of Christmas, isn't it great? I love it, and I have managed to get myself a large collection of Christmas scents this year and I am loving them. Pick'n'Melt* so kindly sent me out some of their Christmas scents along with their wax burner and it's making it hard for me to choose which one to burn each evening.

Blogmas Day 13 || Tips To Fight Off The Winter Blues

One thing I've been struggling with lately is staying focused and motivated. Getting home from work in the dark and having the energy to get stuff done and work on my blog is very difficult. A few weeks ago I got home with all the intentions of writing up some Blogmas posts, I sat down with my laptop and before I knew it I was fast asleep and nothing got done. So I've been trying out a few things to get my energy back and I'm feeling much more motivated now, here's how.

Blogmas Day 9 || It Smells Like Christmas

If you know me, which you probably don't, you'll know that I am a very big fan of candles and wax melts. I find coming home and lighting a lovely scented candle is the most relaxing thing to do. Are you watching a film? Light a candle. Having a bath? Light a candle. Blogging? Light a candle. Always light a candle. What I love more than candles, are wax melts. Wax melts give off a much stronger smell than candles, making them a better option for a more open space like your front room.

Blogmas Day 8 || Bomb Cosmetics This Christmas

Originally, I was planning on buying loads of Christmas themed bath bombs and creamers from Bomb Cosmetics, but when I got on their website I just couldn't decided what ones to get. They have so many that I filled my basket up and had to stop myself from spending more money than I have.
So when I saw their gift packs, I decided to buy one and try the bath blasters from that. Yes, I bought a gift bag for myself with the excuse of using it for a Blogmas post.

Blogmas Day 7 || Mad Beauty For Christmas*

As much as I love buying main presents for Christmas, the stockings are so much more fun to put together. Last year I included a lot of bath stuff and small products in my mums, because everybody loves a good bath product. So when Mad Beauty* sent me some of their Christmas goodies, I was very excited to see what they had.

Blogmas Day 6 || Christmas books on a budget

I love a good book. There's nothing more satisfying than snuggling up on the sofa with a decent book and diving deep into an imaginary world that you get far too emotionally invested in and don't know what to do with yourself once you finish it. Am I right? Yes, yes I am. Unfortunately, if you're on a budget this Christmas like me, you can't go spending money on yourself when you still have presents to buy. So here's where to get your book fix on a budget.

Blogmas Day 5 || ImPRESS This Christmas*

Personally I never use fake nails, as my natural nails are rather long anyway and fake ones never seem to last very long without damaging my nails. So when I was sent these KISS ImPRESS nails*, I was a bit unsure about whether I'd like them or not, but I gave them a go anyway as I loved the designs on them. After all, sticking a nail with a design on is much quicker than spending the time on the design yourself.

Blogmas Day 4 || Two Years of Bethan's Blog

I can't believe I've had this blog for two years now, that's crazy... It only feels like yesterday that I started it. I am so happy with my how far my blog has come in two years and I'm really looking forward to taking it even further. I have learned so much since I started my blog, and I've met amazing people too.

Blogmas Day 3 || Online Shops For Stocking Fillers

I love Christmas, I love the time of year and how cozy it is and I love filling stockings up with small, funny gifts for everyone to open and have a laugh on Christmas morning. Last year I did my Mum's, Brother's and Max's (the dog) stockings and I had so much fun filling them with pointless things for them to open. To be fair, it wasn't all pointless stuff... After the stress of last years Blogmas I wasn't sure if I'd be doing it again, but I decided in summer to give it another go and actually plan for it this time so hopefully it won't be as stressful.
