My 2018 Goals

One thing I've learnt in 2017, is that setting goals really is essential. They help you know where you are going, and they motivate you as you see yourself getting closer to your end goal, or achieving a goal. I didn't used to set myself goals, and I found myself just aimlessly working on my blog, and personal stuff, with out actually knowing when I'd accomplished anything. So here's a few things I'd like to accomplish in 2018.
Stick with a schedule

Although I am always posting on my blog, I seem to be incapable of actually sticking with a schedule. I always seem to be posting at different times, on different days and it doesn't really help me at all. If I stick to a schedule, it also becomes a deadline for me to get a post out.

More fashion posts

I don't really post many fashion related posts, mainly due to the fact that I find it so difficult to get photos. If I sorted myself out, I could probably meet up with Issy more often and get some good photos, in bulk, that would make great posts. I love fashion, and I love sharing the outfits that I put together. So being able to share them with you guys would be great, I need a tripod really don't I? Any recommendations? I take my photos of my IPhone.

Work with more brands

I have been so lucky to work with the amazing brands that I have worked with this year, and I'm really looking forward to working with even more brands in 2018.

Attend more events

I have been invited to a few events, but due to work I am usually unable to go. For some reason, all the events I'm invited to and during the week. But this year, I plan on getting out there more and meeting more bloggers, even though I really do suck at social interaction.

YouTube

Towards the end of 2017, I started a YouTube channel and I was loving it. I loved creating content for it, it's so different to writing up a blog posts and I feel that it allows me to share more of my life with you guys. I've always said I'd love to vlog, but that I find my life boring as I don't go out much. But I realised the other day that my favourite kind of vlogs are homey ones, so maybe people would enjoy watching mine. This is something I still haven't decided yet, what do you think? A weekly vlog?

Dedicate more time to my other interests

As much as I love blogging, it takes up so much of my time that I find myself forgetting about everything else I enjoy doing. I want to spend more time writing, reading and drawing. I may not be very good at creative writing or drawing, but I really enjoy doing them so I want to focus more time on them as a way to disconnect.

My mental health

Although I can be rather independent, I also let myself become very dependent on one person too fast and this is something I need to stop doing. I become dependent on people to make me feel happy, and as soon as they're not around I come crashing down, this has to change. I want to learn to rely on myself, and to feel good by myself without relying on someone else to be there for me.

Money

I keep saying this, but I need to be smarter with my money. Money is one of my main sources of stress, and it shouldn't be. I don't even know where it goes if I'm honest! I have recently started using my Monzo card as a way to track my spending, as Natwest are useless for this.

I'm sure there's more things that I will change throughout the year as I learn what I want, but I'm excited for this year. I feel so focused and motivated towards my blog, I cannot wait to get to work on it.

What goals do you have for 2018? Let me know in the comments.
