Like I've said before, I will use practically any excuse to buy new makeup. So what better excuse than wanting some new shades to create the perfect New Years makeup look on a budget. Who better to turn to when on a budget than Revolution.
What caught my eye with this palette, apart from the price, was the lovely shimmery shades that it has. From a simple nude, through to gold and ending with black. This palette has the perfect shades for a New Years look, especially if you wear any of the outfits that I put together for Blogmas day 18.
With this palette, you can create a subtle yet glamorous look with the gold shades or, if you want something a bit more bold, you could create an amazing shimmery smoky eye with the blacks.
I am a big fan of Revolution palettes, as they are so reasonably priced and have great pigmentation. I also find that they stay in place, and don't wear off half way through the day. Which is a problem I've had with other budget eye shadows.
