Chapter 1 || January

Oh January, what an eternal month you have been. I feel like it's been January for years now, don't you? A month of fresh starts, and new goals. Although it has been a long one, it has been a good one. Like Kylie said about her year, it has been a month of realising things for me.

Charnos Hosiery || Luxury Tights on a Budget

For me, a good pair of tights is an essential part of my closet. If I'm wearing a dress, or a skirt, I'm wearing tights too...Even in summer. I will wear them until it's too hot, and then I finally cave because I don't want to melt y'know? So when Charnos Hosiery reached out to me and sent me some of their tights, I was very happy to try them.

OOTD || Corset Style Jeans

I absolutely love corset style clothes, I love the style of the old dresses (although I can't imagine they were very comfortable). Unfortunately it's not something I can pull off in an everyday outfit, that was until I discovered these corset jeans from New Look.

Get a Studded Kiss With Kat Von D

I LOVE Kat Von D's packaging, it's one of the things that makes the brand stand out for me. I have tried the Lock-It foundation and the contour quad, which I have featured on the blog before. But one of the products that I wanted to try the most has always been the Studded Kiss lipsticks, mainly because they look so cool, and I'm really superficial. So when they went on sale, I snapped a couple up and eagerly waited for them to arrive hoping that I wasn't going to be let down by them.

Everyday Eye Makeup With Avon

When it comes to my everyday makeup, I tend to keep it pretty quick and easy as I value sleep more than looking awake. So although I don't use foundation, or any other face makeup, I do use eye makeup. I can't go to work without winging my eyeliner first, and to do that I've always used Soap & Glory's liquid eyeliner. But when I ran out, and spotted this one from Avon, I decided to give it a go alongside their mascara and eyeliner pencil.

The Night Cream For Dehydrated Skin

I know, I'm late to the party with this one but at least I got here. I'd heard a lot about the Garnier moisture bomb sheet mask, and every time I saw it in the shops I resisted the temptation to pick it up because I always thought it was a bit expensive for a one time use thing. So when I got this moisture bomb night cream for Christmas, I was eager to give it a go.

Conceal & Define with Revolution

The other day I was scrolling through Instagram when I came across a photo of these Conceal & Define Revolution concealers. Superdrug had posted a photo of all of the shades lined up, and that's what caught my attention. They have a wide range of shades and they're only £4, I had to give them a go. Right? Well, that's what I was telling myself has I bought four of them anyway.

Blogging on a Budget

If you're not careful, blogging can get quite expensive. What with the nice cameras, the domain, the lights, the props, the clothes, the products, etc... It can all be a lot of money, money that we can't all afford to spend. So how do I manage to keep blogging on a budget? Here's some tips.

The Perfect Moisturiser For Breakouts

For a while now I've been looking for a moisturiser that not only leaves my skin feeling soft and ready for the day, but also helps get rid of my lovely breakouts. After looking around a bit, I came across the visibly clear, spot proofing, oil free moisturiser by Neutrogena and thought I'd give it a go.
