Conceal & Define with Revolution

The other day I was scrolling through Instagram when I came across a photo of these Conceal & Define Revolution concealers. Superdrug had posted a photo of all of the shades lined up, and that's what caught my attention. They have a wide range of shades and they're only £4, I had to give them a go. Right? Well, that's what I was telling myself has I bought four of them anyway.

I needed a new concealer anyway and, not only are they concealers, they are also used to contour. So when I was trying to pick my shade, I thought I'd get a few and see which one matched my corpse like skin the best, whilst also getting one that I could use to contour with.

I don't usually contour, as I'm not really sure what I'm doing with it. But after receiving a contour stick in my Birchbox, I've started including contouring into my make up and I'm actually liking it. So I was excited to give this a go, not only as a concealer but as a contour product too.

The first thing I noticed about this Conceal and Define Revolution concealer was the wand on it. My last concealer had a similar one but much thinner, meaning it took ages to actually apply. The wand on this concealer is much thicker, therefore making it much easier and faster to apply.

When it came to picking a shade, I went for C1, C2, C3 and C11. The shade I usually go for is Ivory, and I found that out of all of these, the C1 shade was the best match for me. C11 was perfect for contouring, although you really don't need much. I am used to contouring with a wax contour pen, so when I applied this I had no idea what I was doing with it.

The product was a bit thinner and more liquid based than what I expected for a concealer, it did do a good job at covering up all those pesky imperfections though. It was really easy to blend in and my foundation sat perfectly on top of it.

I have to say, for a £4 concealer, it's pretty good and it's wide variety of shades makes it that much better. I do love Makeup Revolution, they are one of my favorite brands because they are great quality for a good price, don't you think? I find myself buying more and more of their stuff.

Have you tried this Conceal and Define concealer yet? Let me know in the comments.
