For a while now I've been looking for a moisturiser that not only leaves my skin feeling soft and ready for the day, but also helps get rid of my lovely breakouts. After looking around a bit, I came across the visibly clear, spot proofing, oil free moisturiser by Neutrogena and thought I'd give it a go.
I don't tend to use the same moisturiser everyday, as my skin changes so often. One week I may be needing one for blemishes, and another week I may be needing one to add a bit of life back into my lifeless skin.
When I bought this one, my skin was in full breakout mode. It honestly hadn't been so bad for a while, but I guess with the Christmas stress and other stuff that was going on in my life... it decided that it was the perfect time for a breakout.
This moisturiser has a lovely creamy texture that you can cover your face in, without it leaving it feeling all oily after. It is said to help clear, and prevent, breakouts whilst also moisturising your skin.
Due to it being oil-free, I find that it goes on perfectly with makeup. Sometimes, when I use a moisturiser that isn't oil-free, combined with my naturally oily skin, it just makes my foundation go all patchy within an hour. I don't have that problem with this one.
Within a few days of using this, day and night, my skin started to clear up. This made me extremely happy. Now my skin has cleared up, I don't use it everyday as I have other ones I'd like to use and that I feel my skin could benefit from.
However, as soon as I start breaking out again, this is the product I reach for.
Have you tried Neutrogena's visibly clear, spot proofing moisturiser? If not, what are you waiting for? It's the perfect remedy for those pesky breakouts that only seem to show up at the worse time.
