Ways I'm Failing at Being an Adult

My friend Rosie recently did a post called "Ways I'm Failing at Being an Adult" and it was so relatable that I thought I'd do my own version. Although I'd like to say first that I don't think anyone has everything sorted in life. When I was growing up I always thought that  my Mum had everything sorted and knew what she was doing, but as I grew up I learned that she doesn't. Is it even possible to?

September Product Round Up

Every month I discover new products thanks to twitter, Birchbox, PR gifts and more. A lot of the time they become my most used products for a while until I find something new to try out, but I don't feel that the product on it's own would make a great post. So I've decided to do a product round up post of products that I've discovered or rediscovered and been using a lot lately.

Malee Conditioning Body Scrub*

Malée is an online cosmetics company that prides itself on producing products with natural oils and vitamins, and it's cruelty-free. What more could you want? A decent product, right? So when they offered to send me one of their products to try, I was eager to find out if it was any good.

NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette

Now I know in Autumn it's nice to go for the warmer colors, I love a dark lipstick and brown shades of eye shadow but every now and then it's also nice to add some brighter colors for a bit of fun. I usually always go for more neutral colors when it comes to buying palettes, so I thought I'd push myself out of my comfort zone and go for a more colorful one this time. I picked up the NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette and now it's become one of my most used Palettes.

L'Oreal Pure Clay Masks

I'd seen these around and was extremely tempted to give them a go but kept putting it off. The one day they just jumped into my basket and came home with me, don't you hate it when that happens? I'm a big fan of a good face mask, so I was eager to try out both the Pure Clay Detox Mask and the Pure Clay Glow Mask by L'Oreal.

MAD BEAUTY || Winnie The Pooh*

Although I'm not a massive Disney fan myself, you have to give it to Mad Beauty when it comes to Disney themed products. They have a wide range of products with the theme of your favorite Disney films, perfect for any Disney lover. They so kindly sent me two of their products from their Winnie The Pooh theme, the Winnie The Pooh bubble bath and the lip balm.

Autumnal Colors || Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lipsticks

It's finally that time of the year, the time of the year when I can get away with wearing my darker lipsticks. I was on the look out for some new liquid lipsticks to try out that would also satisfy my need for a darker lipstick, so when I spotted these I had to give them a go. These Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lipsticks are said to have a high intensity color, velvety matte finish and a long lasting, comfortable wear. So I put them to the test.

Baby Lips Color Balm Crayon || Maybelline

I'm a big fan of Maybelline's' Baby Lips Dr Rescue line, it's my go to when I have very dry lips. So when I saw that they have color balm crayons in the Baby Lips range too I couldn't help but add them to my basket. Unlike the Dr Rescue line, these color balms are more like a lipstick and add a stronger color to your lips instead of just a hint whilst also moisturizing your lips... apparently. So where they actually worth it?
