NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette

Now I know in Autumn it's nice to go for the warmer colors, I love a dark lipstick and brown shades of eye shadow but every now and then it's also nice to add some brighter colors for a bit of fun. I usually always go for more neutral colors when it comes to buying palettes, so I thought I'd push myself out of my comfort zone and go for a more colorful one this time. I picked up the NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette and now it's become one of my most used Palettes.


The NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette consists of  sixteen different eye shadow colors, with a wide range of choice. It has reds, pinks, blues, greens, yellows and more... So much choice and an essential for anyone who loves trying different looks or even just adding that bit of color to your every day look.

I used to always go for a black smoky eye or maybe a golden one, but since I've had this I find myself being a bit more experimental with my makeup and I'm loving it. I've been adding the color of my outfit to my makeup, and blending it in with a bit of black eye shadow to give it a bit of a smoky eye look. I love how pigmented each color is and they blend amazingly, making it easy to create any look with them. I also found that they stay in place pretty well, I've used them on nights out and got to the end of the night with it still in place. Which is an achievement, right?
