L'Oreal Pure Clay Masks

I'd seen these around and was extremely tempted to give them a go but kept putting it off. The one day they just jumped into my basket and came home with me, don't you hate it when that happens? I'm a big fan of a good face mask, so I was eager to try out both the Pure Clay Detox Mask and the Pure Clay Glow Mask by L'Oreal.

"Enriched with Black Charcoal which acts like a magnet to draw out impurities. The creamy texture of this deep cleansing face mask detoxifies the skin's surface and works deep into pore, leaving the skin looking clarified and beautified."

This is definitely my most used one. Every time my skin is feeling like it needs a deeper clean and a detox, I find myself reaching for this one. The mask does exactly as the packaging says it does without drying your skin out, which is a problem I have a lot of the time. A facemask will make my skin feel clean and detoxified but also really dry, I don't have that problem with this one.
The first time I used it, I used my fingers to apply it and made a right mess... Black face mask everywhere. So I now use an unwanted foundation brush to apply the mask and it is so much better and faster, I'd highly recommend it.

"Enriched with Red Algae extract, known for it's brightening properties. Finely milled apricot seeds gently exfoliate dull, uneven skin to reveal your natural glow. It's beaded, creamy texture which illuminates tone by exfoliating your skin without drying it out."

Although this one is great for adding a bit of life to dull skin, I hardly use it. Not because it's not good, but because the first time I did use it I managed to get it in my eye as I was washing it off. Not only did it hurt, I'm pretty sure it scratched my eye as I then spent two days with a bad/sore eye. So from my point of view (haha) it's not worth it.

Have you tried L'Oreal Pure Clay products? What did you think? I noticed that they also have a blemish rescue one, has any one tried that? Is it worth giving it a go? Let me know in the comments.
