My Top Picks For Acne Prone/Blemished Skin

I have tried a fair amount of products of the years to help reduce the appearance of blemishes and any lovely spots that may pop up. Some good and some just really bad, unfortunately. So I thought I would put together a list of a few of the products that I still use now and would highly recommend.

The Four Revolution Primers Reviewed

I was casually scrolling through Twitter, as I do endlessly when I saw a Revolution tweet about their new primers.  Four of them, that I couldn't choose from. So, I somehow convinced myself that I needed to try all four of them and at £6 a primer I couldn't resist putting them all to the test and sharing my thoughts on them. So here is a review of Revolution Beauty's primers.

Botanical Lab Skincare for Blemished Skin

The New Year gave me a perfect excuse to change up my skincare. Although, I do that anyway... No excuses needed, I like trying out products. So when I came across Botanical Lab products on Superdrug's website, they sounded ideal. Budget friendly and aimed at acne-prone skin - So is it any good?

The Lazy Evening Skincare Routine

The lazy evening skincare routine

You've had a long day, you're exhausted and the last thing you want to do is spend ages on your skincare routine. You want to quickly clean your face and take your makeup off, so you can jump into the bed you've been thinking about all day. Right? Well here's my lazy skincare routine, for the days I just want to go to bed.

Am I good enough? Yeah, I am.

I don't know about you, but I am constantly dreaming about where I would rather be in life. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy what I have, while I have it. But I also think a lot about where I would rather be. A full time blogger maybe? A writer? I've always loved writing, I can't remember not writing. However, along with all those thought I find myself talking myself down.

I'm always learning more about what things and products are out there that are good for your skin, especially acne prone/blemished skin. So when I read about Aloe Vera and the amount of benefits it has for your skin including healing and anti-inflammatory properties, I decided to give it a go. I went onto Amazon and found this Aloe Pura organic Aloe Vera gel with tea tree oil, the tea tree oil was a big bonus as it has antibacterial properties which is great to treat acne.

Is it worth it? || L'Oreal lip scrub

As someone who suffers from rather dry lips a lot of the time, mainly due to the weather but also due to my love for liquid lipsticks, realising that you could exfoliate your lips was a game-changer for me. If you have dry lips, I'm sure you'll be able to relate - How annoying is it when you have those crusty bits of lip hanging around making your lipstick look all flaky? Very. I exfoliated my lips anyway, but when I spotted the L'Oreal Lip Scrub I wanted to know if actually having a product dedicated to the cause would make any difference or if it was really just a gimmick.
