I know, I know... Another palette. Did I need another one? Not really. Did I buy it anyway? Yes, of course. With Autumn creeping upon us, I've been in the mood for warmer tones. So when I spotted Revolutions new Forever Flawless "Fire" palette on Twitter, I couldn't help myself. One minute I was scrolling through Twitter and the next I was checking out on the Revolution website.

I haven't bought a Revolution palette in a while, at least I don't think I have. In fact, I don't think I've bought any palettes for a while... Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong - Sometimes I'm in denial about my spending habits. Anyway, I usually try and avoid ordering stuff directly from Revolutions website because I'm too impatient for their shipping. However, this time I spotted the DPD next day delivery and thought that paying the extra £3.95 was worth it because, as I said before, I'm rather impatient.

I placed my order on the 8th of August, expecting to get it the next day. I waited and no package turned up, then on the 12th of August I received an email from Revolution saying my order was on its way - It arrived later that day. So when they said next day delivery, they meant from when they decided and not from when you placed your order even though it says 3pm cut off (I placed my order at 12.30pm). This just reminded me why I don't bother ordering stuff directly from them often, I'd rather order it on Superdrug and pay their delivery fees because at least they actually deliver the next day. So if you're as impatient like me, then I'd recommend ordering their products from Superdrug.

Anyway, now I've got my little rant out of my system, let's talk about the palette. The shades in this Fire palette reminded me a little bit of the shades from my Too Faced Gingerbread Spice palette, but for half the price. Obviously, you're not going to get the same quality though.

Before I tried higher end palettes, I was a big fan of Revolution palettes. I loved going into Superdrug and picking up two or three palettes at a time without having to spend a fortune. Then I ruined it for myself by trying something a bit more high end. You don't realize what you're missing out on until you get a taste, and that's exactly what happened with me and my palettes. After using a Too Faced palette, I found going back to a budget-friendly one a bit more difficult. Yes, the colors are beautiful but they're not as pigmented and they don't blend as nicely.

However, realistically I can't afford to spend a fortune on every palette I buy. If you're lucky enough to be in the position where you can spend a bit extra on your makeup, then good for you. But if not, Revolution offers a perfect solution for that and that's their budget-friendly palettes. Revolution is my go-to brand for budget-friendly and good products, you'll know that if you've been reading my blog for a while.

This beautiful Forever Flawless "Fire" palette is the perfect budget-friendly palette you'll want to add to your makeup collection this Autumn. It's packed full of warm shades, combined with shimmery ones to add a bit of life to your looks. I've created a few looks for my IGTV videos, which you can check out on my Instagram if you'd like. This palette also reminds me of Kim Kardashians "Sooo Fire" palette - Except with more shades and for £10 instead of £37, that's a big difference. My favorite shade from this palette is red, I have a few other palettes with reddish tones in but they seem to come out a bit more orange or pink than red. This red actually came out a beautiful shade of red, making it perfect to combine with black and achieve that red smoky eye look that I wanted.
