The festive period is usually one packed full of events and dinners that require getting all dressed up for, which for me is stressful as I usually spend a lot of my getting ready time having a little meltdown over what to wear. I convince myself that I have loads of clothes and I don't need to buy anything new, then when it comes to it I realised I was fooling myself. So I thought I'd put a few festive outfits together, in case you have any Christmas events coming up and you're lost on what to wear.
The Elegant Look
This is a more elegant look (for me anyway) with a blazer style dress and the silver clutch bag, I think this look would be perfect for a more fancy event. I love suit style outfits but I wasn't able to find a nice fitting suit that didn't cost a fortune or look like a work outfit.
The Red Dress
I'm a big fan of a red dress, especially at Christmas time as it's a very festive colour. I don't usually go for off the shoulder type necklines, however, this dress is so gorgeous that I couldn't resist it. I love the length of it too but that means that I wouldn't be able to pull off boots with it, so I've paired it with these gorgeous heeled shoes.
Jeans and a nice top
Ah the classic jeans and a nice top look, what we all tend to go for when we're not sure if we can actually be bothered to put in the effort to look nice, but we still want to look nice. At least that's what I do. Jeans, a nice top and some heels just to finish off the look, you can't go wrong really. Yes, I know the bag is really expensive but I fell in love with it when I spotted it and couldn't resist not matching it with that red top.
This post could go on for days because there are so many amazing clothes out there that I would happily wear, so I'll keep your choice limited to make it easier for you by stopping at three.
