Not Your Average Advent Calendar

It's that time of the year again, when we go out and buy calendars full of goodies to prepare ourselves for the countdown to Christmas. As great as the chocolate ones can be, they can also be a bit boring. Also, if you already have your big tub of Quality Streets then having a chocolate each day isn't really a treat.
So I decided to share with you guys a few of the advent calendars that I have found on my new favorite website, notonthehighstreet.com. I have selected a few of my favorite but they have plenty more and loads of fun, creative ones for kids. I'm going to start with the cheapest and go up to the more expensive ones.

Personalized Photo Christmas Advent Calendar - £14

I thought this one would be great for those who love the more personal gifts. I know my Mum would love to open up a new memory every morning on the lead up to Christmas. This would make a great gift for somebody, but not really a great thing to buy yourself as you would already know what photo is behind each number.

Inspirational Advent Calendar - £24.99

Although this one is a bit pricey for what it is, I do think it is worth it. If you find yourself struggling every day, especially with the stress of planning Christmas, this could be a great way to start the day. Opening a new motivational card everyday, giving you that positive start to your day right up till Christmas.

Personalized Charm Bracelet Advent Calendar - £29

This one was my favorite. I absolutely love charm bracelets and with this calendar you get to add a Christmas charm everyday. You can also personalize it to make it that much more special for Christmas day.

Beard Oil Christmas Advent Calendar 24 Scents - £30

This one is for the bearded men. I always see loads of beauty advent calendars around but I am yet to see anything similar for men, so when I saw this one I knew I had to feature it. I doubt many men read my blog but it would make a great gift for the bearded men in your life, don't you think?

Bath Bomb And Soap Advent Calendar - £30

Got to love a nice, hot and relaxing bath after a long, cold day at work. With this advent calendar you'll have a lovely new bath goodie to enjoy every day. I think this calendar would be a great way to discover new scents that you might like but maybe wouldn't of picked up.

This one looks really fun. It kind of reminds me of a Christmas cracker and , lets be honest, that's one of the best parts of a Christmas dinner. This box is packed full of goodies from photo props to jokes, just like a Christmas crack right? A great advent calendar for the entire family.

Advent Calendar Of Tea - £49

Are you more of a tea drinker? Then this one may be better for you. This advent calendar is packed full of all sorts of teas for each day of December. Each day you get two teas, so you can enjoy it with somebody else or just enjoy two teas yourself. A nice cup of tea on a winters day, sounds great right?

Honest Brew Advent Calendar, 24 Beer Gift Case - £89

Last but not least, the beer advent calendar. Now, I'm not much of a drinker so this isn't one that I'd buy for myself but I know that there are a lot of beer enthusiasts out there that would really enjoy this advent calendar instead of your normal chocolate one.

I am yet to purchase my advent calendar as I am not to sure which one I want to get. Although some of the beauty ones look great, I don't think I'd use all the products that I'd get in them so I might go for something a bit different or I might just end up with a chocolate one. If you know of any different advent calendars than your usual chocolate ones, then share them in the comments below.

  1. Oooh! I love the tea advent calendar! Super cute. I've only ever seen the cheapo chocolate advent calendars and the makeup set ones, so it was refreshing to see how many different ones are out there! <3 Lovely post!
