#GIRLBOSS

I know, I'm late to the party. But at least I made it.
I kept seeing this book everywhere but didn't think about buying until I read Issys post, it sounded like the kind of book I needed to read and I was right.

This book is a "get shit done" book, it basically says that you need to work for what you want, don't stop trying and just get shit done. It motivates you and makes you see things from a different point of view! We are constantly made to believe that the most important thing in life is an education and that with out it, we don't have much a future. Plenty of people have proved that wrong. What you need to succeed is a can do attitude. I CAN do it. I CAN accomplish my goals. and I WILL. That's how you feel after reading this book.

Now, I'm not saying that as soon as I finished this book I was a new woman with a new attitude towards life, because we all know you can't just switch a switch in your brain and become confident. But it sure as hell makes you want to work harder towards it, it makes you feel like it's possible. It doesn't make things feel unreachable.

I feel like anyone could read this book, even though it's called #GIRLBOSS I would definitely recommend it to a man too. It makes you realize that only you can decide what happens in your life, you are in control of your own destiny. No one else.

I also discovered that Sophia has #GIRLBOSS podcasts, where she has a chilled talk with other #GIRLBOSSes. It is great to hear their stories and listen to their advice. It really makes you feel like you are capable of anything. At the end of the day, no matter what gender you are, you CAN accomplish what you set out to do. You just have to work hard and give it everything you've got.

If you've read the book, let me know what you thought of it. If you haven't, I highly recommend you get a copy and give it a read.

I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did!

  2. I've seen this book a lot around the blogosphere and, to be honest, this is the first review I read about it. I want to buy it, I don't know if I can get it in my country though. I really need some motivation right now!
