Fool proof Easter cupcakes

Easter is getting close and I thought I would make some fool proof Easter cupcakes. Perfect for when you have visitors and need something quick and easy to make.

I was wondering around Sainsbury's trying to shop for actual meals but only ending up with junk food, when I ended up in the baking aisle and decided to do an Easter cupcake post. I also decided that I would make it fool proof because it's just the best way to go when you aren't good at cooking. I do love baking though!
So here's what I picked up:

A few days later I picked up some cream eggs and some Galaxy golden eggs to go on the top of the cupcakes too, but forgot to take a photo of them because I am a terrible person.
This isn't really a recipe post seen as it's pretty simple to do, it's more of just an idea post. To give you an idea of what you could do for Easter.

For the mix,

 - Betty Crocker Velvety Vanilla cake mix.

I do love the Betty Crocker stuff. I thought I would go for a vanilla one for the cupcakes because I was planning on adding food color to the mix. Which I did, but you couldn't really see it much.
So for the mixture you will need; vegetable oil, water, 3 eggs and that's it I think. Just mix it all in with the mix that comes with the pack until it's nice and creamy. Once it's nice and creamy, share it out equally in your cupcake things ( I forgot what they are called) . Don't forget to preheat the oven before you get started on the mixture!

Once they are done, let them cool and then get started on the top,

- Betty Crocker Vanilla Buttercream Icing
- Sainsbury's Chocolate Icing
- House of Cake Easter decorations
- Cream egg's
- Golden egg's

The decorating is always my favorite part. The main reason I bake is because I enjoy decorating. Again I went for fool proof ready made icing mixes. I picked up the Betty Crocker one and a Sainsbury's one. I also picked up a few Easter decorations.
I added red coloring to the vanilla buttercream mix to make them a bit more colorful!

I was really happy with the end results and they are delicious, perfect for Easter and great to make with kids. My favorite one's have to be the one's with the chocolate icing, I'm not that into vanilla.

I hope you all have an amazing Easter and enjoy the cupcakes.
