Splash Botanics || Is It Any Good?

I've tried a few of the Zoella Beauty products in the past and loved them, mainly the scent of them. So when she launched her new "Splash Botanics" range, I was eager to get my hands on them and give them a go as they seemed to be a bit different from her usual sweet scent. In the past, I've only really tried the bath products and body mist that she's released, mainly because they're products I tend to use more often. However, as soon as Splash Botanics launched, I had all of the products on their way to me...Well, all except the makeup bag.

First of all, before I go on to talk about each product I want to talk about my thoughts on the range altogether. I think she has managed to, yet again, absolutely nail it in terms of branding and theme. It has such a fresh and summery vibe to it that fits perfectly into what's on trend at the moment. As for the scent, it's a very fresh floral scent highlighted with freesia delicate iris flowers. It isn't too strong at all, making it perfect for summer.

Lagoon Love Bath Milk Powder

Drench Me Bath Soak

I love a good bath product, but I find that a lot of products just make your bath water look pretty and smell nice without actually doing anything for your skin. So I was eager to try these ones and see if they actually helped my skin at all. These bath products contain extracts of hydrating coconut water and radiance-boosting lychee to help leave your skin feeling hydrated and soft, which it does fantastically. After I got out the bath I felt like my skin had been reborn, it was so soft and hydrated and I didn't feel the need to put cream on after.

Side note, you don't need much of the bath soak at all. I only used a little bit and it filled my bath with bubbles. It has a very thick consistency too, so I have a feeling it's going to last a while.

Quench Me Body Sorbet

Make a Splash Moisturising Wash

My favourite thing about this range is how hydrating it all is, which is great for summer. I've been using the Body Sorbet a lot lately as my skin has been extra dry thanks to the lovely, lovely hot weather. The Body Sorbet is perfect, it's refreshing and my skin soaks it right up leaving it feeling soft and with a lovely fresh and flory scent.

The shower wash is just as hydrating as the Body Sorbet, meaning you wouldn't necessarily need to use the Sorbet after you shower if you didn't want to. It also has a very thick and creamy texture to it, so when you apply it to your skin it feels lovely and soft but this also means that I do have to use a fair amount of it. So I don't think it is going to last very long, which for £6 isn't ideal, I tend to only use it when I don't really have time to apply any creamy after my shower.

Body Mist

Ahh the body mist, got to love a good body mist. For £8 it makes a perfect everyday body mist for summer. I've been wearing this every day to work, I carry it around in my bag so I can freshen up during the day too. I get really paranoid during summer that I stink, so I'd rather stink of a fresh floral smell than sweat. Definitely a summer must have for me.

So Soft Lip Oil

It wasn't until I went to Superdrug's website to buy the products that I realised she was releasing a Lip Oil too. I've never used a lip oil before so I wasn't sure what to expect with this, and I was pleasantly surprised. The first time I used this, I used it under my lipstick and it was the perfect base for it. Sometimes my lips get a bit dry and cracked, so when I apply my lipstick it just looks a bit of a mess. However now, thanks to this lip oil, I can apply it before I start doing my makeup and giving it time to soak up for when I put my lipstick on.

My favourite product from this range definitely has to be the So Soft Lip Oil, but second on that list is the Body Mist. Have you tried any of the new Zoella Splash Botanic products yet? If so, let me know what you thought of them in the comments.
