Keeping On Track With The Old English Company

I'm not going to lie, I'm not a very organised person at all. I try but within two days I'm back to being the unorganised mess that I am. However, this doesn't stop me from buying things with the hopes of one day being organised enough to actually use them all the time. But I've decided to try again due to the Old English Company* having amazing stationery that I just had to have.

Now I know you can get a lot of planners for your phone, some of which I do attempt to use, but I much prefer writing things down and creating physical lists that I can look at and feel proud that for just a moment I was organised enough to write things down.

So when the Old English company reached out to me and asked me to feature them, I went for a more stationery aimed post even though they do have a lot of other stuff on their website. What better time to try and organise myself a bit?

I love having things laid on in front of me, it helps me think better. So when I saw their weekly planner, I had to pick it. I now use this as a way to kind of plan the week ahead, set new goals to keep me motivated and also set myself deadlines. I found that setting deadlines help me get stuff done, otherwise, I constantly put things off.

This handy planner is great for planning out your daily to-do lists. It doesn't have dates on it either, so even if you miss a few days of being organised, the blank pages won't stare at you and remind you of your failure every time you open it. I love this because when the weekend comes round, as much as I want to plan out each day it really depends what mood I'm when I wake up. So with this planner, I've just been writing one list of everything I need to do over the weekend and crossing them off as I go.

If you're anything like me, you'll come up with great ideas or remember stuff you have to do while you're halfway through something else and by the time you've finished said thing you've already forgotten what it was. That's where this little notepad comes in handy. It's perfect to have sitting on your desk, ready for you to just scribble any thoughts down so you can come back to them later. Which is what I've been using it for.

Last but not least a good old motivational mug. They have a few to chose from, but this quote is one of my favourites. Reminds me that you need to believe in yourself. Perfect for my morning coffee, motivates me for the day

The Old English Company have so many cool things on their website, from prints to enamel pins. You should definitely head on over and check them out if you haven't already.
