Blogmas Day 11 || Festive Nails

What's the best way to show your festive spirit than to through your nails? It's subtle enough for an everyday bit of Christmas in your outfit. So when I was so kindly sent a set of Leighton Denny's festive nail polishes*, I decided to have some fun and try out some festive looks to share with you guys.

I've done them on fake nails because there is no way they would look how I want them to look if I tried most of these designs on myself, they would be a mess. For inspiration I went to the one place where you will always find inspiration for anything in life, Pinterest.

For this first one I used my Maybelline Colorama "French White", Avon Speed Dry "Turquoise Pop", Leighton Denny* "Caught Red Handed" - This one is my favorite one because it's pretty basic but festive at the same time. I also bought this** nail art set from amazon. For £7 it includes brushes, nail tape, nail rhinestones and 3D nail art studs. This one was so easy to do, so I'm planning on doing it on my nails for Christmas and hoping I don't mess it up.

I also bought some nails stickers, it was a pack of thirty sheets for £5.89**. They aren't all Christmas themed ones, so you can use them all year round.

This one was a bit more difficult to do because I don't have the patience, but it does look nice. I think this kind of design would look nice on the odd nail, not on all of them. For this one I use my Leighton Denny* "Passion" as the main color and my 3D Gel Top Coat by Bourjois Paris over the top to hold the tape on properly.

This one is pretty basic, but they are part of Leighton Denny's* "Two of a Kind" collection that I was so kindly sent to try out. These ones are perfect for a simple but sparkly look for your nails. They'd also make a great stocking filler or secret Santa gift.

If you're looking for a snowy design, this one is perfect. It reminds me of my phone case because I have the same design on the back, I could match my nails to my phone case... I might actually do that. I'm a big fan of Avon nail polishes, so for this one I used my Avon Gel Finish in red (I can't find the name of the color on it). I also used my 3D Gel Top Coat to hold the stickers on, but I forgot to include that in the photo... Bad blogger.

This one did not go as planned. It may look simple, but it was not easy to do... My white nail polish isn't very good for this at all. I used the Leighton Denny* "Caught Red Handed",  the Maybelline "French White" and to hold the stone in place I used my good old 3D Gel Top Coat again. I can't say I'd attempt to do this one on my own nails because I know It'd go horribly wrong.

My ideas for these nails came from Pinterest, I have created a board with all the ones I loved so you can go check that out if you want. I hope you liked them and if you've got any nail inspo, let me know in the comments.
