Small Lifestyle Changes

I am always trying to improve things in my life, to kind of better myself and although I've made a lot of changes in my life lately, I still have a few small improvements I'd like to make. This isn't me saying I'm unhappy with my life how it is, I am. I just feel like I'd like to make a few changes in my life instead of always saying "I wish I was the kind of person that..." because the only thing stopping me from being the person I want to be is me. I figured posting about it would make it a bit more official too, so I feel like I have to do it now I've posted about it.

#1. Save some dolla.

I don't even know where it goes but usually a week after pay day I am already broke and it drives me mad. I hate having to crawl to the end of the month, not being able to do anything at the weekends because I blew it all within a day week of being paid. I've started taking lunches into work with me, which was a difficult habit to get into but I think I've got it now and I save so much.

#2. Get moving.

I recently signed up to the gym, and since then I have been twice. Which is okay but I'd like to get into it a bit more. I'm not going to set the bar too high and say I'd like to go three times a week, because I know I'll just let myself down there... but I would like to make sure I go at least once a week. I know it's not much but I think that once I get into a routine and feel comfortable going, I will go more than once a week. I used to go three times a week before I moved back to England and I loved it, so I can definitely see myself getting back into it.

#3. Skincare.

I am constantly changing my skincare routine to test out new products and review them, and usually between switches I mess up my skincare routine completely. I'd like to put more effort into it, exfoliate and use facemasks more often too.

#4. Reach my blog goals.

Each month I update my stats and track them, seeing how much they've improved or how much I've let them slip. But I never set myself a goal to reach the next month, so it feels almost pointless to track them. This month I have set myself goals to reach for next month in the hopes of pushing myself to put much more effort into growing my social media (which you should follow).

#5. Youtube.

I have always thought that Youtube was the next step for my blog, and it's always been something that I've wanted to do but avoided because I lacked the confidence. I finally started it and I really hope to keep it up, I had so much fun filming and editing the videos that I've done so far and I have so many more ideas for videos. You should definitely go subscribe to my channel, help me reach those goals I was just talking about.

#6. Read.

I have always loved reading, I used to spend my entire weekend with a good book in my hand. Unfortunately, ever since I've been working full time and blogging I've found it harder to make time for reading. So I'd like to set some time aside for reading everyday, even if it's just a couple of pages. I've just bought six Christmas books to review for a Blogmas post anyway, so I've got a fair amount to read.

#7. Sleeping habits.

I don't necessarily think I have a bad sleeping pattern, but I do wish I went to bed a bit early and got up a bit better and maybe even a bit earlier so I can do stuff before I go to work. I think it'll be difficult to get into but once I do, my body will be okay with early mornings.

So there's a few small improvements I'd like to make in my life, nothing really major but still things that I feel would make a difference and stop me from making up excuses. Do you have anything you'd like to change in your life? Small or big? Let me know in the comments.
