Snacking On Air || Light Bites

A while ago I was contacted by Light Bites and asked if I'd like to try their product. I did some looking into them and they looked really nice and different, so I agreed to have some sent out to me, I was excited to try them. Though I don't diet, it does make me feel good when I have a light and healthy snack, but I always struggle to find ones that I actually enjoy and that satisfy my need to eat.

A week later a box packed full of Light Bites arrived on my door step. I had a nosey through and was eager to try them out, they had so many different ones that I didn't know where to start.

~ Apple with Strawberry Yoghurt
~ Roasted Shallot and Cider Vinegar
~ Mango with Vanilla Yoghurt
~ Pesto and Sundried Tomato
~ Cheddar Cheese and Chutney
~ Strawberry and Apple
~ Sweet and Smoky Chipotle
~ Quinoa, Honey and Pumpkin Seeds Bar
~ Goji Berries, Quinoa and Chia Seeds Bar

After getting photos of them, I could finally try them (Blogger problems, amirite?). I grabbed the Pesto and Sundried Tomato one on my way to work as that was the one that appealed to me the most.
Unfortunately, when I got to work and started to dig into them I was really let down. I didn't like the texture of them, they lacked flavoring and after eating the bag I was still really hungry. It was like I hadn't had anything to eat at all which kind of defeated the point as I still wanted to eat.
I was let down but still had high hopes for the rest of them as they are all different types.

The next one I tried was the Apple and Strawberries one. I couldn't even finish this pack, the texture of them was somewhat like what I'd imagine space food would be like and they had no taste at all. It was like snacking on air, and not in a good way.

The more of the snacks I got through, the more let down I was by them. Safe to say, they're not my cup of tea at all.

I mean, I'm sure there are people out there that would enjoy these kind of snacks but they just weren't for me. If I walked into a shop wanting a light and healthy snack I wouldn't go for these ones.
Have you tried Light Bites? Let me know if you have and what you thought of them in the comments.
