BLOGMAS DAY 22 || NEW YEAR GOALS

Even though this kind of looks like a New Years resolution post, it's really not but I guess it kind of is..? I don't really do New Years resolutions because I don't think I should need a New Year to make changes in my life, I can do that whenever. Saying that, this post is about goals I have and changes I would like to make in my life. Not because of the New Year but because I have been doing blogmas and it has made me realize how much I enjoy it and I'd love to work more on my blog and other things related to it. Also, I have been watching a few vlogs and they are so motivating and happy that they make you want to get up and do stuff with your life.

#1. Be more organized with my posts.

A while ago I started posting three times a week. When I came up with the idea, it seemed like a good one even though I work full time too. A lot of people think that I can sit and write posts at work seen as I am a receptionist but it's hard to concentrate when the phone is constantly ringing and you have people coming into reception. At first I was doing really well and keeping on top of it all but just before I started Blogmas I started to fall behind and end up rushing to write posts for the next day. So I'd like to be a bit more organized and keep up with it all without leaving it until the day before.

#2. Do more baking posts.

I really enjoy baking but I haven't really done much for my blog. To be honest I have been really lazy lately when it comes to cooking or anything similar, it's terrible. I think I would starve if I didn't live with my Mum... Which brings me to my next goal.

#3. Do more around the house.

Ever since I started blogging that is mainly what I focus on at the weekends or in any of my spare time. Meaning I have been a terrible person to live with over the past year because I rarely do anything around the house without being nagged at (like a child, I know). I'd like to be a bit more helpful at home, make time for house chores every weekend and not just once I've finished blog stuff.

#4. Cook & bake more.

Like I said before, I enjoy baking but rarely do it and the same goes with cooking. I enjoy it but I hate cleaning up after because I'm lazy. So my goal is to spend a bit more time in the kitchen, learn new recipes and become a bit more confident with my cooking.

#5. Cut down on sugary foods.

Ever since I came back to the UK at the beginning of the year, I have had a lot more sugar than what I usually would of in Spain. There's so much more choice here when it comes to chocolates and sweets that it's hard to stay away. But I've had nearly a year of trying all the new things that they didn't have in Spain and now it's time to behave or my dentist will kill me. I have already cut down on sugary drinks and tried drinking water more often instead of cordial or DrPepper.

#6. Save.

I am a terrible saver. I do try though! Every pay day a certain amount of money comes out of my account and goes into my savings account. Two days later, that same money comes out of my savings account and back into my main account because I can't help but spend it. It's kind of like getting drunk really, at the time it seems like a really good idea but the next day you feel crap for it and swear you'll never do it again. I'm not saying I want to be a super saver, but I'd like to have some money saved for a rainy day y'know?

Thought there are many more changes I'd like to make in my life, I don't want to set the bar too high and feel crap for not achieving any of my goals, so for now that's all. I will do an update on this post and let you know how I get on... I CAN DO THIS. I have to, or I think my Mum might kick me out and due to my lack of savings, I'll be homeless. HAHA I wish I was joking.

What goals have you set yourself?
