7th Heaven Peel-Off Masks

Manuka Honey Peel-Off

"Busy bees have collected nectar from the Manuka bushes of New Zealand creating Manuka honey - a natural cleanser. They source it & we add the flower nutrients of fragrant jasmine in our face masks"

First of all let me say that I do not like honey at all. I can't eat it and I'm not a fan of the smell either... I don't mind it in other things but I really don't like the smell. So needless to say that I didn't really like the smell of the face mask but I picked it up because I have heard really good things about Manuka honey. It is supposed to be a natural cleanser, making it really good for your skin and your body in general.
I have to say, I was really happy with the results of this one. I peeled of the mask to reveal my lovely soft and refreshed skin underneath. You know that feeling you get when your skin feels amazing and, even though you still have those pesky blemishes and spots, it looks clear and soft? Do you get what I mean? Well that is how I felt after using this. Obviously it's not some kind of miracle cleanser that instantly gets rid of every spot and blemish, but it sure does make your skin feel and look better.

Passion Peel-Off

" Pulped pomegranate, passion flower, raspberry, grape, cranberry and vitamin E contain antioxidants that help protect skin, while pores and dead cells get a deep clean from our peel-off mask"

My first impression of this wasn't very good. It smells like an anti-oxidant drink, which I didn't like at all and as I was applying it my eyes started to sting from in. It might of been because I was applying it too close to my eyes, but once it started drying up, my eyes stopped stinging.
It took about 25-30 minutes to dry up and become that lovely peel-off mask that I enjoy so much. No joke, the best thing about face masks is being able to peel them off after. It was easy to peel off and didn't hurt my skin, I know this is a problem with some but I haven't had that problem with this brand.
At first I wasn't overly impressed with the results. Sure, my skin felt clean but it also felt rather dry and I didn't get that with the Manuka one but even though I went to bed feeling rather let down, I woke up to lovely soft skin that felt amazing. So once my skin had balanced it's self out again and restored some of that lovely oil that I adore so much, my skin felt great so it wasn't a complete waste of time.

Green Tea Peel-Off

"Re-energize with our uplifting, deep cleansing Green Tea peel off mask, exploding with natural antioxidants, you Green Tea, root ginger and reviving squeezed lemon. Peel to reveal a deeply purified toned and radiant complexion"

This is the last one I used out of all three and I didn't expect much from it seen as it says on the pack that it is to be used weekly. So I figured that for it to give it's full effect, I would have to use it more than once. I was wrong.
When I was applying it, I couldn't help but think that it's smell reminded me of the dentist. Strange, I know. It had a clean smell to it, like the dentist does.
It says to leave it on for 15-25 minutes, but I don't really time it when I use a peel-off mask. I assume that once it is all dry and starting to flake around the sides, that means it's ready to come off. I love peeling them off, it's the best part of the process. Right? I slowly peeled it off and found that it had given my skin that lovely clean & clear glow that it was seeking. I did find that some areas of my skin were feeling a bit dry and tight, but they didn't look dry and flakey. It's always a good idea to apply some moisturizer after giving your skin a deep clean anyway. I find that deep cleans usually leave my skin feel dry as well as clean.

I am slowly falling in love with 7th Heavens face masks. They are only a pound and are great to use when your skin is feeling a bit run down or even to pamper yourself after a long day at work. I have been using one every weekend, and I must admit that my skin is feeling better for it. I also have a multi-masking kit of theirs that I haven't tried out yet, but when I do I'll be sure to tell you guys all about it on here. So keep an eye out for it.

You can discover more of their peel-off face masks on their website. Let me know if you recommend any face masks or any other brand that I should try out.
