My A/W Style Guide

It's finally my favourite time of the year when I can not only get away with never leaving the house but I can also get away with wearing boots without judgement. Don't get me wrong, in Summer I still never left the house and always wore boots, but I got judged for it and always got asked things like "Aren't you going to go out and enjoy the beautiful weather?" or "Aren't your feet hot in those?". So anyway, here are a few outfits I've put together seen as I can't actually justify spending money on them as, like I said before, I never leave the house.

The Trench Coat

Long red checked trench coat
Off shoulder button through mini dress
Heeled boot
Stradivarius body bag with stud details

The thing I love most about this outfit is definitely the checked trench coat. The rest of the outfit is black, so I feel like the coat kind of adds a bit of "I'm here" to the look. I also love a good trench coat, they go with so many outfits and keep you lovely and warm.

The boots look so comfortable, hence why I love them. As much as I love how amazing really high heels look, I just can't walk in them. I'd rather be comfortable and not break my ankle thank you, but kudos to those people that can walk in them.

The Band Tee

Fleecy denim jacket
Lace-up flat ankle boots
Esprit skinny jeans
AC/DC Floaty tee
Black cross body bag with western buckle

Are band tee's out now? Cause last year they were everywhere and now I can barely find them anywhere, which is annoying as I love a good band tee. Especially when it's such a legendary band like AC/DC. I actually have this tee already, I bought it for a blog event at the beginning of the year and when I saw this jacket I thought they'd look great together.

I know, another pair of boots... But what else did you expect from me? Most of the footwear I own are boots, I find anything else uncomfortable. I only own trainers because I decided I was going to start working out and then went to the gym once and forgot about them.

The Jumper Dress

Image sources: Deichmann , asos

Roll neck jumper dress
Faux fur trim coat
High leg lace-up boot
Animal print cross body bag

I absolutely love these kinds of dresses because they're so warm and cosy. Just dress them up a bit with a nice pair of boots and a good handbag and you'll be warm and comfortable all night, what more could you want? You could probably add a statement belt to this dress too if you wanted to dress it up even more.

Yes, this handbag is the only animal print item in this post even though animal print is in at the moment. Why? Because as much as I love animal print, I've been seeing it everywhere lately and I'm feeling a bit bored of it. Don't get me wrong, people are pulling it off... I just don't see myself adding loads of animal print to my wardrobe any time soon.

So there are a few outfits for this Autumn/Winter, although I'll definitely be doing more of these posts in Winter because I love having a reason to spend hours shopping online without actually buying anything, it makes me feel less sad about it. What clothes have you got your eye on this season? Let me know in the comments.
