Does This Product Actually Reduce Pores Instantly?

Just before summer, I decided that I wanted to start introducing a few luxury beauty products into my blog. Mainly because I needed some kind of excuse to buy them, but also because I wanted to share my experience using higher end products as I've always been led to believe that the higher the price, the better the product. So when I bought this Guerlain Pore Minimizer, I expected some good results.

I bought it online, so I didn't really check to see how big the actual product would be. Let me tell you, it's not very big at all. It's £21 and you get a 15ml tube. But I shrugged it off as I was ready for the miracle cream to work its magic and shrink my pores

This ultra-fluid gel is formulated with 63% water and a polymer that develops the skin into a breathable veil of smoothness. It's said to instantly reduce pores thanks to the plant extracts, clay and zinc that work together to tighten enlarged pores. It's also supposed to be a good base for your makeup.

So what did I think of it?

I'm not going to lie, I wasn't impressed at all. It just seemed to be an overpriced primer. I used it for over two weeks, waiting for it to do it's oh so wonderful magic, but nothing happened. I kept looking in the mirror full of hope until I came to the conclusion that spending more on a product doesn't mean they'll be any good.

My pores are rather large for my liking, so I'm always on the lookout for products that might help reduce them. Unfortunately, this Guerlain Pore Minimizer is not the one. I won't give up though, I will still continue to test out higher end brands. I bought two other products when I bought this one and they were both amazing!

Have you tried any higher end products and been disappointed? Let me know in the comments.
