Alternative Accessories With Blue Banana

Personally, I feel like a good accessory really completes a look. They're the perfect way of making a basic outfit fit your style and express your taste in fashion. So when I discovered Blue Banana*, I couldn't wait to get my hands on a few of their accessories to add to my wardrobe.

Blue Banana is a budget-friendly alternative clothing store, that sells a wide range of items for everyone. I love alternative fashion but always struggle to find stuff I like that isn't going to cost me an arm and a leg. However Blue Banana has you covered.

They were kind enough to send me out a few items to style for you guys, which I was very excited about as it was a bit of a surprise what they were going to send. I have to say, I was not disappointed.

Dragon Hair Screw 

Now, when this arrived, I wasn't entirely sure what it was for and there's a high chance it's not actually for your hair but that's what I've been using it for. Well, that was until I cut all my hair off anyway. I'll have to figure out how I can style it into my now shorter hair. This little dragon accessory twists into your hair, adding a little something different to your hairstyle. Cool right? Next up we have this skull earring cuff. I LOVE earring cuffs, I have a few already and find that they're a great alternative if, like me, you're too scared to actually go get your upper ear pierced. This is definitely one of my favourite items they sent me.

Steampunk Necklace

The style of this necklace is a bit different to my last two items, but still equally as cool. This Steampunk style necklace is perfect to add a little something to a basic outfit. I think that it's maybe a bit too big to add to an outfit that already speaks for itself but perfects to add to a nice dress or basic top. How would you style it?

(I know, I know, there's a lot of hair on my top. I blame it on my pets and my constant hair loss.)

Last but not least we have this studded detailed backpack. I don't tend to use backpack type bags for everyday life as I like to be able to just shove stuff in my bag and I find it a bit more difficult to do when my bag is on my back. However, this bag is perfect for days out. Those kinds of days where you just want somewhere you can shove all your stuff and not have to worry about it or have your handbag hanging off your shoulder.
