OOTD || Summer Time

 Unfortunately for me, a fan of rainy days and dark clothes, summer is here which means I can no longer get away with wearing my boots and jeans all the time. Trust me, I've tried and end up full of regret the moment I step out the house. So I recently invested in a few more summer clothes and thought I'd share them here because that makes the unnecessary shopping justifiable. Right?
One of my favorite online shops is Boohoo, I absolutely love their clothes, prices and fast delivery. So when I saw this sweet skater type dress for £12 I knew It would be a good purchase.


The dress is a bit shorter than my usual but it also has a thicker, more plastic type material for the skirt so it's less likely to fly up with the slightest bit of wind.

Plus having the plastic type material that I should probably know the name of around the skirt bit ensures that the dress has a lovely shape to it. I'm a big fan of skater type dresses, so as you can imagine, I'm over the moon with this one. Now I just need somewhere to wear it that isn't my garden for photos.

Of course whilst buying new clothes I managed to talk myself into buying a smaller handbag, one that wasn't black as a way of adding a bit of diversity to my wardrobe. I was looking through Very, and when I was just about ready to give up I found this one.

I'm going to be honest, I tried to buy the black one but it was sold out. I was forced into buying the beige one but I'm okay with that, now. It's smaller than I expected it to be so it took me a while to come to terms with the fact that I couldn't carry around my three notebooks with me anymore and that I had to settle with just the one. I've also had to switch to a smaller purse too, but it is nice not carrying a massive bag around all the time.

I can't say I'm a fan of the furry ball thing hanging off of it but that does come off, so there's a high chance I will remove it soon. Unless Sam's cat beats me to it and breaks it, as he seems to think it's a toy.

Last but not least, to complete the outfit I am wearing a minimum amount of jewelry. The necklace, which is one of my favorite necklaces, is a lovely handmade one from Urban Raven. The detail on this necklace is amazing, I absolutely love it.

The bracelet is from Boohoo. I managed to pick it up in their sale last year so I can't find it on their website anymore unfortunately. It arrived a little bent from it's journey but I managed to bend it back into shape.
