BLOGMAS DAY 4 || MY BLOGS 1ST BIRTHDAY

Today a year ago my first post went live on this blog. A year. I can't believe it! It doesn't feel like a year and so much has changed on my blog. 

I have learnt so much about myself and I have developed so many skills, like photography skills and writing skills. I have managed to keep my blog going despite going through times when I was lacking motivation and doubting myself.

Blogging has become such a big part of my life. All my free time is spent blogging and working towards growing this blog, my blog. At times I feel like people have doubted me and not taken me seriously but I am glad I didn't let it get to me and I carried on.

I have always loved writing but never known what to do with that passion. I would get asked what I want to do with my life and I wouldn't know how to answer, so they'd ask me what I enjoy and my answer would always be photography and writing. I enjoy creating, but what was I supposed to do with that? That's what I didn't know until I discovered blogging. I have had blogs before but the timing was never right, I couldn't keep them up and I needed to grow more and learn more about myself. When I started Bethan's Blog I didn't know where it was going to go and I still don't, but I have discovered an amazing community and a whole other world that I love being a part of.

Thank you to every one that reads my blog, that follows me on social networks, that RT and shares my posts and that supports me. Just by following me, liking my stuff or even interacting with me on Twitter you are helping me and motivating me, so thank you. I can't wait to see what this next year will hold for me and my blog, hopefully many more opportunities and many more lovely people to meet.
