Admit it, the best part of family reunions is when the games come out. Although guaranteed that at least one game will end in an argument because someone is cheating so bad that they actually got caught. I thought I'd put together a post of some of my favorite games for this time of year, in no particular order as they're all great.
Scrawl

Scrawl feels like Pictionary and Chinese Whispers had a baby. The aim of the game is basically to be as crap as drawing as possible (Well, I find this tactic has made me the winner of many of a game).
"Take a Scenario Card, doodle it, pass it on. By the time it gets through you friend's disturbed minds, your delightful drawing of 'Dreaming of bacon' could be disfigured beyond belief.
In the meantime, you've got to interpret the new doodle before them. Is that an ugly baby, a badly fried egg or something else entirely?

Now this one is most definitely best after a few drinks. Made by the makers of Scrawl, this one is a gooden too!

This game is as strange as it sounds! It's a rhyming game that tests your acting skills, rhyming skills and a bit of your celebrity knowledge! Watching one of the family members act out being born was 100% worth the spend for me with the game. Also made by Big Potato, ( I promise this isn't sponsored haha!), who make great, unusual games that are perfect for family time over Christmas.

Speak Out

So funny story, I accidentally brought the knock off version of this game from Amazon and it's filled with typos and looks hilariously fake. However, I have played the real game and it's unbelievably funny, but not one for the vain. You have your entire set of teeth on show, slobber running down your chin, and you sound like an idiot. It's great.
